QUALIFICATIONS:

Provide specialized instruction in reading that will enable students in grades K-12 to master literacy skills appropriate to age, grade level, and individual capacity; develop and monitor student progress on student literacy plans; provide small-group and one-to-one reading instruction to identified students in a nontraditional setting (Bridge, Interchange, Elementary and/or Middle School); follow all guidelines outlined in the Virginia Literacy Act. Reading Specialist degree or successful completion of the VDOE Reading Specialist Micro credential required. 

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  Effective Date:  2024-2025 School Year

             Salary:  Commensurate with qualifications and experience
