JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Instructional Technology Resource Teacher will implement goals/objectives/strategies that support the technology competencies for teachers, administrators, and students.  This will occur through the following Performance Responsibilities:

• Modeling effective instructional strategies using technology
• Working collaboratively with individual or groups of teachers to integrate technology into instruction
• Disseminating information regarding technology resources, best practices using technology, and professional development opportunities
• Facilitating or conducting technology-related professional development
• Assisting with the creation of learning resources for teachers and students
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Supervisor of Innovation, Digital Learning, and Professional Development) as it relates to Instructional Technology

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A valid teaching license
• At least 2 years of successful teaching and classroom management experience
• Knowledge of curriculum, instructional strategies, and the Standards of Learning Program
• Knowledge and proficient user of computers and related technology
• Skill for integrating technology with curriculum
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship with others
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to articulate and adapt communication and presentation style for various audiences
• Oral and written communication skills
